This weekly article will look at who is being HYPED this week as a MUST have buy in AFL DreamTeam and SuperCoach and other HYPED issues of the week.
This Round marks the beginning of the three round bye period that is causing headaches for dream team coaches across the land.
TRADE OF THE WEEK
So far the trade of the week thus far has been G.Ablett IN, Pendlebury OUT. First let me say after Abletts 186 I can understand why people want to get Ablett. However trading out Pendlebury is the WRONG move. Time and time again we need to be reminded that trading a Premiums for a Premium is a short sighted move. We need to look big picture beyond these multi-bye rounds to how our team is going to look leading into Round 20 for the start of the finals. In my estimation, I want both Pendlebury and Ablettt.
Verdict – Rookie Move
So who should I trade in this week?
The Dream Team “KING OF THE PACK” of the week is clearly Sam Mitchell. At the end of Round 10, 18.37 people owned Mitchell, by the end of Round 11 100% should. This is the one and only trade I would consider this week. If you have a GWS rookie such as Kennedy (25.09%) or Devon Smith (29.1%) or JMAC (James McDonald) (25.53%) trade them now. If you have all three trade them in that order. This is DREAMTEAM 101 we trade out MAXED Rookies for UNDERPRICED GUNS on the BUBBLE (Price about to rise).
Mitchell is priced at $437,500 with a B/E (break-even) of 78. His score will rise with his low score of 73 against Fremantle in Round 8 leaving his rolling average after this round. Mitchell is averaging 93.7 over the last 3 games but 102.7 over the season. His first four games of the season were vintage Mitchell with an average of 117 p.p.g. over those opening rounds.
ROUND 13 BYE PLAYERS?
Players from the Round 13 Bye are very attractive options. It has been worked out that the minimum amount of 0’s you can get through this year is TWO. DTTALK BYE STRUCTURE THEORY. If you manage to follow a similar structure, bring in a Gary Ablett, Sam Mitchell, Mitch Robinson and Brett Deledio! Take a proactive approach, understand we will all face 0’s and set your team up for future success later in the season.
Round 11 is the ONLY time you would consider bringing in a Round 13 Player as they still have two games until they face the BYE.
