Dangerfield Staying a Crow

Victorian born 22-year-old Patrick Dangerfield has snubbed the approach of Clubs in his home state to remain a Crow until the end of the 2015 season. The 3-year contract extension will take Dangerfield to 8 years on the Adelaide list and allow him to be eligible for Free Agency when his contract expires.

“(I considered) family back home compared to living here away from them, but once I sorted all that out it was a pretty straight-forward decision.

“I think we’ve got a huge future ahead of us. The start we’ve had to the season has been really good and going forward we’re only going to be a better side the more we adjust to Sando’s game style … and get to know each other’s games.”

Kurt Tippett Queensland bound?

The Crows have also received an in principal agreement with young midfielder Rory Sloane, 22, who is in the process of changing management groups.

The Adelaide Football Club can now turn their attention to signing key forward Kurt Tippett who is in the final year of a 3-year contract signed at the end of the 2009 season. The lure home is still a high possibility for the native Queenslander with both Brisbane and Gold Coast needing to inject experience onto their lists.
