AFL National Draft Review

Below is a complete list of the Players Selected in the AFL 2009 National Draft. The First ten went as predicted with Melbourne choosing Scully as the Number 1.

The first real surprise came at Pick 11 with Melbourne choosing Gysbert a tall midfielder from the Eastern Ranges (Vic). The Biggest surprise however was the Western Bulldogs picking relatively unknown Christian Howard from Glenelg (SA).

Luke Ball also was granted his wish, sliding to Pick 30 – Collingwood, after months realising his dream of playing for the Pies.
